History

Our recreation field lies just to the east of the village, it's approximately 15 acres of ground surrounded by trees. It's used for sporting and leisure pursuits including cricket, football, archery, tennis and petanque.

The current pavilion has two changing rooms, a small kitchen and meeting room. It was completed in 1981 by Taff Ely Council after continual pressure from a village club 'Creigiau 23' and local residents keen on making use of the field for sporting events.

It is a lovely area which is ideal for exercise, dog walking, bird spotting, socialising or simply enjoying a quiet few minutes taking in the scenery on one of our benches.
